You will work with internal stakeholders, and Design and Construction Delivery partners.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Providing technical support into Customer and Company initiated projects across AusNet’s Transmission networkApplying primary technical engineering knowledge to ensure efficient solutions can be reached on complex design projectsDeveloping scopes and specifications for design and construction. Review and assess brownfield and greenfield electricity substation designs, providing technical input into staging, constructability, operability, maintainability and safety in designIdentifying opportunities to develop new or improved standards and to ensure the timely delivery of efficient solutions of complex technical engineering designs and standards, taking ownership of process improvement initiatives and development of new methods where necessaryLead, coach and mentor personnel within the team and share knowledge and experienceAbout youYou don’t need to tick every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:Tertiary qualification in Electrical EngineeringDetailed technical knowledge and extensive experience in electricity networks engineeringDetailed understanding of project lifecycles and application of engineering principles with extensive design and construction knowledge covering performance, functionality, operation, maintenance and risksExtensive experience working in electricity substations engineering, project delivery and/or design roleDemonstrated ability to develop, coach, mentor, empower and support colleagues and team members to achieve common goalsIf this sounds like the role for you, please apply now!A real place to belong.We celebrate unique voices, refreshing perspectives and diversity in our team.
