We have an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to join our team. Wide Bay Mental Health and Specialised Services (WBMHSS) is developing a ten (10) bed Subacute Older Persons Mental Health Unit that will be located on the Maryborough Campus, providing specialised mental health care to those in the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS) catchment. This is new position that will plan and implement a subacute older persons model of care based on evidence based best practices. In addition to leading out on this exciting project the NUM will have the below responsibilities:
1. The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is a clinical manager, accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of patient-centred clinical practice and the provision of human and material resources
2. Provides professional and operational leadership and direction to nursing staff of the Subacute Older Persons Mental Health Unit.
3. Responsible for the facilitation and provision of quality and cost-effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and best practice within the Wide Bay Mental Health & Specialised Services.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $164,212 p.a., comprising salary between $132,562 - $143,924 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
