You will be working within a dedicated team that provides servicing, maintenance, and repairs to the City’s fleet, plant, and equipment.The successful candidate will have experience working on a range of plant, equipment, and vehicles including light fleet, heavy trucks, and mechanical aids, including loaders, excavators, and tractors. There will also be a requirement to service, maintain, and repair small items of plant and equipment such as chainsaws, concrete cutters, brush cutters, and blowers.Key ResponsibilitiesThe duties of the Heavy-Duty Motor Mechanic will include but are not limited to:Undertake service and repairs of Plant, Equipment, and Vehicles to manufacturer specifications.Adhere to safety requirements and procedures as set out in policies.Commitment to providing a high level of internal and external customer service.About YouThe following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
