In this role, you will actively participate in the design and development of RWWA's software systems, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across a range of business functions and applications.As an integral part of our agile delivery team, you will ensure the highest level of quality and conformance in all software development activities.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in agile team activities, including stand-ups, showcases, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Develop new features and enhancements as part of the squad's prioritised backlog.Ensure compliance with RWWA change management procedures.Contribute to the continuous improvement of software delivery processes.Undertake software engineering activities across various business services and applications under the direction of the Team Lead – OzChase.Participate in reviews of Merge Requests (MRs) for all OzChase repositories and systems.Ensure all changes to RWWA's platform systems have sufficient automated or unit test coverage.Assist in the support and maintenance of RWWA production systems.Mentor and coach junior software engineers as required.Resolve customer support requests and participate in on-call support within the team as needed.QualificationsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Demonstrated experience in application analysis, design, development, and deployment using technologies that align with RWWA's technical landscape, specifically C# .NET and SQL.Demonstrated systems analysis and design skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Creativity in solving complex problems.Strong knowledge of source code control and configuration management principles.A solid understanding of DevOps concepts, including experience working with CI/CD tools, and the ability to apply these concepts in a complex technical environment.Experience with AWS resources will be well regarded.Willingness to collaborate with team members in design and development.Strong understanding and ability to apply foundational best practice software methodologies and patterns.Ability to work effectively as a valued member of a multi-disciplinary team.High energy and a driving force for positive change, improvements, and successful delivery within the team.Additional InformationIf you are passionate about software engineering and eager to contribute to the success of RWWA, we would love to hear from you.
