About the role and where you will be working:
Germanus Kent House (Broome, WA) was built in 2008 and has all the features of a modern, state-of-the-art facility. We can support up to 55 residents and are conveniently located close to the shops, chemist, bank, local medical centre, and hospital.
You’ll be part of a dedicated and close-knit team that provides tailored care that can be adjusted to meet our clients’ changing needs. As a valued team member and leader, you’ll be drawing upon your clinical knowledge to ensure that our residents receive the best clinical care from nursing and care staff.
We’ll also be asking you to:
o Support, coordinate, and mentor a small team of nurses and health care workers.
o Provide clinical leadership, assess, and develop the capability of nursing staff.
o Coordinate and oversee admissions and clinical documentation.
o Prepare budgets and support cost control initiatives.
o Participate in quality improvement programs. Review and update relevant policies and procedures.
o Consult with SCC WA clinical leads and external medical practitioners to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
To be considered for this role, you’ll need:
o Current AHPRA registration.
o Confidence to act in Facility Manager role as required.
o Proven track record in leading and driving quality clinical outcomes.
o The ability to maximise funding via AN-ACC.
o A recognised Infection Control qualification.
