About you:
You are a qualified Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife with a minimum of one year's recent experience in an Acute Nursing setting. You possess knowledge of legal and professional responsibilities for contemporary nursing models of care. You have proven ability to provide clinical education and support and demonstrate own ongoing professional development and can lead activities required as part of contribution towards the Nursing and Midwifery Professional Practice Model (PPM).

Your role:
1. Responsible and accountable for supervision and the delegation of nursing/midwifery activity to EN's and others.
2. Accountable for the planning, provision, and communication of nursling/midwifery care to an allocated group of clients, including the evaluation and required revision of practice based on agreed priorities, goals, plans, and outcomes.
3. Accountable for own decisions/actions, behaviours and standards including monitoring and evaluating activities delegated to others.
4. Respond appropriately to sudden alterations in the health status of the patient using comprehensive nursing assessment and intervention skills.
5. Accurately conducts comprehensive and systematic assessments, analysing information and data and acts based on this information communicating outcomes as the basis for practice.
