The Opportunity
Our client is a community-focused federal government agency seeking skilled Content Writers/Guidance Officers.
A 12-month initial Labour Hire contract offers the possibility of extension, with multiple APS 5 and APS6 level positions available.
Key Responsibilities:
* Research, draft and update internal and external guidance with a participant focus that reflects the Agency's policy positions and meets accessibility standards.
* Interpret the policy and legislative environment the branch operates in, including understanding and translating the NDIS Act and NDIS Rules into Our Guidelines.
* Develop or update guidance material in response to participant and external stakeholder feedback.
* Understand key stages of the participant pathway, specific participant cohorts and technical processes within SAP CRM and PACE business system requirements.
* Provide service delivery knowledge and advice on procedural guidance, practice implementation and operational matters as needed.
* Contribute to continuous improvement, maintaining best practice and innovation in the branch.
* Manage multiple priorities while maintaining high work standards, governance protocols and accuracy, meeting defined timeframes.
About You:
* Australian citizenship is a requirement for this position.
* Experience as a content writer and designer with a user-centered services and products focus.
* Ability to interpret and draft policy and procedural information into clear guidance material.
* Demonstrated understanding of content design, including accessibility, inclusivity, readability and information architecture.
* Project management skills, including developing plans, monitoring progress and managing priorities.
* Plain English writing skills to translate legislation rules and policy into audience-appropriate content.
* Understanding of user stories, prototypes and journey maps.
* Ability to work productively with subject matter experts and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
