The Role and our Branch
The Strategy and Policy Division is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and committed Senior Consultant, Gifted and Talented Selection Unit, (GTSU), in the Student Assessment and Reporting branch.

As the Senior Consultant, GTSU, you will focus coordinating system-wide assessments to identify students suited to Gifted and Talented Secondary Selective Entrance programs and assist with the development of assessment instruments, by external agencies and contractors, for both Primary Extension and Challenge and secondary Gifted and Talented programs.
The Senior Consultant will analyse Gifted and Talented student performance data as well as provide reports to senior management and review existing testing programs. The Senior Consultant will identify areas for improvement for their ongoing applicability and relevant policy and procedures related to testing and placement.
