Overview
A great leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse in the position of Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our excellent, highly motivated and caring team of staff dedicated to providing nursing and/or midwifery services at the Port Broughton District Hospital & Health Services.
In this role, you will provide support to the Nursing/Midwifery Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager or equivalent in the leadership of nurses/midwives in the ward/unit/service. You will undertake a portfolio within which they will:
3. Promote continuity and consistency of care in collaboration with other AN/MUM and the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager or equivalent;
4. Assist the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager or equivalent in the implementation of practice changes; and
5. Assist the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager or equivalent in undertaking ward/unit/service management responsibilities, eg. Performance management processes, recruitment, staffing, leave management, rostering, work allocation and attendance management; financial and supplies planning and monitoring.
