Location Profile Clyde Primary School are looking for passionate staff who strive to improve the wellbeing and learning of their students. Our school is located in the community of Clyde, one of Melbourne¿s fastest growing areas. The school is 5 kilometres east of Cranbourne and 10 kilometres south of Berwick. Our school has an enrolment of 500 students, but this is expected to grow over the next few years, due to the new housing estates in the area. The school¿s Strategic Plan reflects the school community¿s high expectations for literacy and numeracy, with a focus on ensuring explicit and consistent approaches to teaching and learning. We believe in improving student learning and wellbeing through authentic teacher collaboration and in partnership with parents. Our teachers collaborate in teams, and support each other to develop their practice. Curriculum planning commences in our team meetings, using data analysis teachers plan for extension, intervention and to identify effective teaching strategies. Staff are also required to attend a Professional Learning Session on Monday and Thursday afternoons. Specialist classes that are provided include Physical Education (PE), Art, Digital Technology, LOTE and Music. Selection Criteria SC1 Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate the teaching of Performing Arts and/or Music. Demonstrated experience in responding to student learning needs. SC2 Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn, and evaluating the impact of learning and teaching programs on student learning growth.
