Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.Rangeway PS, located in Geraldton in the Midwest Region of WA, has enrolments of approximately 290 students, with 74% being Aboriginal. Irregular attendance and high rates of transiency contribute to significant disadvantage factors impacting the learning potential of these students. At Rangeway Primary School, we turn challenges into opportunities and focus on developing academic improvement and social and emotional wellbeing of our students.Suitable applicants should ideally be organised and able to use their initiative to assist with the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment and managing resources and equipment used in the classroom.As an Education Assistant - Mainstream, suitable applicants will have the ability to assist the teacher in the delivery of planned education programs across a variety of year levels and can work with individual students or small groups, including students at educational risk. They will also assist with the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment by maintaining equipment, materials, and resources for use in classes, displays, and demonstrations, and assisting the teacher with clean and safe storage of items after classes and activities. Suitable applicants will ideally be resilient and demonstrate high care for students, believing that all students can make progress when supported appropriately.
