Reporting to the Category Manager, you will provide support in all aspects of planning, analysis, management of data integrity and any other duties that are allocated by the Category Manager.Sounds great! Tell me about the role.Assist with development and execution of category plansContribute to effective supplier relations to achieve best possible supplier terms for the Total Tools group.Coordinate merchandise activities for all sales and promotional campaigns.Assist stores to improve their business performance through appropriate communication and support including problem-solving and development of category plans.Coordinate the product and pricing maintenance for all sales and promotional campaigns.Coordinate all proposals for new product submissions on to the central product file based on Category Manager sign off.Manage data integrity within the central product file of all databases to a high level of accuracy.Work with the Category Managers in regular category range reviews to prepare and execute the category plan with both local suppliers and our private brands team to maximise profitability as well as achieve private brand penetration.Regularly review competitor trends, activity and pricing with the Category Manager.You're Likely a Match If you haveProven experience as a Category Assistant, Buyer Assistant or similar roleAbility to multitask and prioritise within a dynamic, fast-paced environmentExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to build relationships and manage stakeholdersAbout usFor 30 years, Total Tools has operated as the ultimate tool shop, delivering the right tools and advice for our customers.
