If so, join our Client’s growing team as a Customer Support Specialist in the Mining & Civil sector About the Role: As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be the face of the company for their valued clients in the Mining and Civil sectors in Australia, PNG and Indonesia. Your expertise in machinery parts will help guide customers to the right solutions, and your customer service skills will ensure that each client experience is seamless and positive. Working closely with the Business Development Representative, you'll also support the lead conversion process and ensure the sourcing of the best suppliers for client requests. Your responsibilities will include: Customer Requests & Quotes : Respond promptly to customer inquiries for quotes or service requests and provide detailed, accurate quotes. Support Lead Conversion : Assist the Business Development Representative in executing the lead conversion process to turn prospects into long-term clients. Supplier Sourcing : Use the sourcing system to find the best supplier for specific customer requests and ensure timely delivery. Follow-Up Engagement : Follow up on quotes sent, gather feedback, and maintain ongoing communication with clients. Customer Service Excellence : Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring clients are satisfied with our products and services. About You: To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: Machinery Experience : A solid understanding of machinery parts and components is essential, but you don’t need to be a mechanical expert. You should be comfortable with terminology and able to communicate the value of different parts and components. Customer Service Experience : Previous experience in customer service or a customer-facing role is highly desirable. You should demonstrate strong customer service values and a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences. Procurement/Buying Experience: Experience in procurement or dealing with suppliers CRM Proficiency : Experience with CRM systems is beneficial to help manage client communications and track progress. Office-Based with Flexibility : This is an office-based role with the potential to work from home one day per week after six months.
