Toll Global Logistics Finance Services are currently on the hunt for a casual, full time hours (5 days per week) Senior Finance Analyst. This is a centralised services function providing General Accounting, Credit Management & Account Payable services to the Toll Group business. As the Senior Finance Analyst your position will predominately be supporting analysis, reporting and process improvements in a dynamic work environment located on St Kilda Road. This position will be paying between $65-$75ph (depending on experience) FLAT RATE with no over time. Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to; Support budget / forecast process, including consolidation of business unit reporting regions and discussions with business unit Managers for respective regions Responsible for Profit and Loss and associated discussion and commentary with business unit Managers Analyse actual vs budget / forecast variances and provide effective commentary to business units Prepare/Review monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and lead resolution of reconciliation issues with Involved with Board and Corporate Reporting and coordinating with team members for completion Identify cost control and expense reduction opportunities Actively involved in financial reporting issues and suggest and implement improvements Responsible for some month end accounting / journals and guidance to team members Review accruals and provisions on a regular basis Involved with preparation of internal and external audit requirements Involved with Income tax and FBT returns and review of tax sensitive accounts To be considered for this position you will need to possess the following; Solid financial accounting and reporting experience. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft applications and continuous improvement focus (Green Belt desirable).
