Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Business Development/Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team in Brisbane City, Australia. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving growth by acquiring new business while nurturing existing partnerships. Your primary focus will be to increase order volume in your designated territory and ensure exceptional service to our valued clients.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to increase order volume within your assigned territory
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, acting as their dedicated point of contact
* Identify, nurture, and convert new business opportunities to expand our client base
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop value-added initiatives that enhance the partnership experience
* Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape
* Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on account progress, goals, and initiatives for internal teams and stakeholders
* Proactively expand existing partner relationships through upselling and cross-selling opportunities
* Address partner issues promptly to maintain positive relationships and ensure timely resolutions
* Engage in strategic planning to improve client results and drive mutual success
* Travel 3-4 days per week for face-to-face appointments with clients and prospects
Qualifications
* 4+ years of experience in key account management, preferably in SaaS, liquor, or beverage industry with a short sales cycle
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, or related discipline
* Proven track record of driving commercial outcomes and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels
* Proficiency in conducting market analysis and staying abreast of industry trends
* Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges and identify growth opportunities
* Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant business tools
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly (3-4 days per week)
