The Senior Security Architect will be a key resource involved in our pursuits and opportunities from the initial customer meeting and through to the design phases of the security solution architecture and value realization. This is a consulting role, so presales experience is a priority. The focus is technical, so candidates that are predominantly GRC focused will not be accepted.Primary Job Responsibilities:Interpret client requirements and decompose them into hardware and system requirements and specifications.Provide support to the sales, bid, and account management process.Gather and analyze client requirements.Determine technical and key business drivers that clients need and can utilize in conversations and consulting meetings.Assist in developing business cases for customers to meet their business needs and objectives.Advise on the design and deployment of security-related matters.Define and design the scope of works.Manage and own POC initiatives.Provide high-level security architecture to support responses to RFI's and RFP's.Engage with customers and vendors throughout the solution design phase.Present business and solution cases.Conduct workshops and meetings to discuss and explain RFP's.Compare and contrast solutions, options, and costings across multiple vendors.Be the main point of contact for security-related matters within the professional services division.Assist with technical business development in a customer-facing, C-Level environment.Manage delivery against customer expectations and drive customer excellence.Provide pre-sales support identifying opportunities and contributing expertise around the design and configuration requirements in relation to RFP / RFI and proposals.Experience, Skills and Qualifications:Possess at least 7-10 years of working experience related to cybersecurity pre-sales and architect roles.Demonstrable background working in a presales and technical architecture (cyber security focused) environment.Professional Services experience.Broad exposure to multiple security technologies.Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, and identity management solutions preferred.Deep knowledge across application, cloud, and data security. Understanding of controls such as endpoint, perimeter, DLP, and so forth.Capable of communicating technically and at C-Level.Good communication and presentation skills.Ability to build and maintain long-lasting business relationships.Experience in a managed services organization would be of benefit.Good understanding of industry standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, APPs.Education and Training:Bachelor’s degree in IT specializing in Cyber Security. CCSP, CISSP, CISM, SABSA, CEH, or similar industry certifications are desirable.
