We are seeking a Senior Manager, Media & Corporate Affairs to play a vital role in shaping and executing internal and external communication strategies for a leading global brand.
As a Senior Manager, you'll be at the forefront of promoting the brand to external audiences while managing critical situations that protect its reputation.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will help drive proactive PR initiatives, manage issues effectively, and craft internal communications that reflect the company's values.
Key Responsibilities: Proactive PR & Brand Promotion : Identify and seize opportunities to promote the brand across various media channels.
Lead efforts to position the organization as a leader in its industry through compelling media coverage and storytelling.
Crisis Communication : When challenges arise, you will be the first line of defense, drafting reactive statements, managing media inquiries, and working quickly to safeguard the brand's image during times of crisis.
Strategic Partnerships : Collaborate with key teams, including Marketing, Social Media, and Operations, to maximize visibility and cross-functional opportunities that support corporate goals and enhance brand reputation.
End-to-End Campaign Management : From press releases and media briefings to on-site photoshoots and filming opportunities, you will manage all aspects of media campaigns, ensuring that each initiative aligns with corporate objectives and delivers measurable results.
Internal Communications Leadership : Develop and execute communications materials for internal stakeholders, helping ensure alignment with external messaging while maintaining a people-first approach to all communications.
Post-Campaign Reporting : Analyze the success of media and PR campaigns, preparing detailed reports that demonstrate return on investment and support continuous improvement.
Media Relations : Cultivate strong relationships with journalists and media outlets, acting as the primary point of contact for media opportunities and inquiries.
Crisis Management and Monitoring : Participate in an on-call rotation for monitoring media inquiries and maintaining an up-to-date issues register.
Your quick thinking and ability to draft reactive media statements will be crucial in high-pressure situations.
The Ideal Candidate: Experience : 5-8 years of experience in media relations, corporate communications, or crisis management.
Strong Writing Skills : Demonstrated ability to craft compelling press releases, statements, and internal communications that resonate with diverse audiences.
Media Savvy : In-depth understanding of media dynamics and how to leverage opportunities for maximum impact.
Crisis Management Expertise : Proven ability to manage sensitive issues and protect a company's reputation under pressure.
