Based at our depot site (located at Inverell), you will be responsible for managing customer orders as well as managing the onsite delivery.You will also be the point of contact with the Inverell Freighters team, operating as the link between customer orders and vehicle operations.Your primary duties include receiving customer orders, inputting orders into the freight management system, and liaising with freight operations to ensure pick-ups are completed in a timely manner.You will liaise with and inform customers of their deliveries, keeping them well-informed.You may also provide administrative support as needed to the management.You will assist with the ongoing business and look to drive improvement in the efficiency and optimization of service to our customers.This role would suit someone who is motivated and ambitious to further themselves and their career.You need good communication skills, have initiative, and be able to work as part of a team or autonomously.Responsibilities: Ideally experience in managing freight bookings and customer freight enquiries.Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering data into the system.Supervise and control orders, goods in, goods out.Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods for delivery runs in regional and interstate transport.Supervise freight loading/unloading in busy transport environments.Essential Skills and Attributes: Current Driver's License.Previous experience in a warehouse customer service environment with a good knowledge of customer service principles and practices.Experience with delivery runs in regional and interstate transport.Experience coordinating a logistics team.Experience with fleet management, including liaising with the maintenance team.Experience with staff training and WHS.Experience with manual handling and able to be on feet for periods of time.Strong team and client management skills.Able to work independently.High level of understanding of stock management.High level of understanding of logistics planning.Willing to learn and treat the business as their own.Physically fit and able to complete the required tasks.Intermediate or above skills with Microsoft Office suite of products.Well organized with high attention to detail.#J-18808-Ljbffr
