Service Manager
This role oversees the service department, ensuring high-quality service delivery to customers. The position requires strong technical knowledge of refrigeration systems and excellent leadership skills.
Main Responsibilities
Service Department Management: Oversee daily operations, scheduling, dispatching, and coordination of service technicians. Ensure efficient resource utilization and timely service request completion.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Maintain customer satisfaction focus. Respond promptly to inquiries, resolve complaints, and address service-related issues professionally. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of service technicians. Provide guidance, training, and support for high-quality service delivery. Foster a positive work environment promoting teamwork and employee development.
Service Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce service quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Continuously improve service processes.
Technical Expertise: Possess strong technical knowledge of refrigeration systems and equipment. Provide technical guidance and support to service technicians. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Service Contracts and Agreements: Manage service contracts and agreements with customers. Ensure contract terms are fulfilled. Collaborate with sales to identify opportunities for renewals and additional services.
Inventory and Parts Management: Oversee spare parts and equipment inventory. Ensure adequate stock levels and efficient management. Collaborate with procurement to source and purchase parts as needed.
Requirements
A current Refrigeration Handling License or equivalent. Current Restricted Electrical License or equivalent. Current Drivers License. Minimum of 3 years industry experience in a similar role.
