Our Client, BM Webb Building Pty Ltd t/a BM Webb Industrial Property is looking for experienced Diesel Motor Mechanics at Mount St John, QLD.Duties will include the following tasks:perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brake systems, steering, and other vehicle components.conduct regular servicing and preventive maintenance to extend the life of the vehicles and prevent major breakdowns.use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues particularly in heavy vehicles.carry out safety inspections and checks to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used, labour hours, and completed services.adhere to all workplace health and safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all staff.Qualifications:Relevant experience or trade qualifications for a similar rolea thorough understanding of diesel engines – preferably with heavy vehicle systems and have a knowledge of the relevant regulatory standards.strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix complex mechanical issues.excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
