This position is located in their busy Pennant Hills office for an initial contract starting January 2025 for 6 months. About the PositionThe Surveillance Officer (Construction Project - Night Works) will manage routine and specialist surveillance activities and assist in complex surveillance activities on nominated contract works for the administration of road, bridge, and/or maritime maintenance and construction works to ensure delivery in accordance with client time, quality, and scope requirements. Duties Provide specialist construction surveillance during night works to verify work meets standards. Monitor and support partner progress against milestones. Coach and mentor less experienced staff. Provide technical advice to trades and project staff. Represent the Agency to delivery partners on site. Escalate technical issues to project managers as needed. Demonstrate leadership behaviours for organisational outcomes. Move forward without waiting for day team responses. Maintain advanced knowledge of best practices and standards. Operate under limited supervision to provide specialised surveillance. Influence partner behaviour to meet tight timeframes and quality standards. Foster positive relationships with multiple delivery partners.
