Your expertise will help our diverse business excel in delivering top-notch services to the community.Your key responsibilities will include:Support teams with business analysis, market research, specification development, procurement advice, and contract management.Apply your contract management knowledge, skills, and experience to ensure quality and efficiency through our various business units and services.Coordinate and provide oversight to the Built and Natural Environment procurement and contract management activities in accordance with the City's Contract Management Framework.This is a newly created position offering you the opportunity to make a significant impact. We value creativity, teamwork, and a proactive attitude.What impact will you make?Coordinate the Built and Natural Environment procurement and contract management in accordance with the City's Contract Management Framework.Support the procurement activities of the Built and Natural Environment Directorate by providing specialist procurement and contract management advice.What can you bring to the team?Degree or equivalent in Business, Law, or CommerceContract Management QualificationAt least 10+ years of significant contract management experience, including high-value/highly complex contractsStrong working knowledge of and the ability to interpret legislation regarding contract lawAbility to provide technical leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, complemented by influencing/negotiation skillsStrong experience in negotiation, conflict resolution, and managing public and stakeholder relations.The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels within a corporate environmentThe finer detailsThis permanent full-time Level 8 position attracts a pro-rata salary range of $114,586 - $121,381 gross per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
