The key duties of the position include The Role The Navy Logistics Compliance and Assurance Manager is responsible for supporting Navy's logistics compliance through comprehensive analysis, audit, and process monitoring. Operating under broad direction, they will manage complex logistics compliance and assurance activities, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include assessing transactional data, conducting internal audits, and contributing insights for process enhancements. The role requires proactive engagement with stakeholders to clarify and meet compliance expectations and foster collaboration on improvements that support Navy's strategic objectives. In addition, the Navy Logistics Compliance and Assurance Manager will apply their logistics expertise to support the ERP system transition, oversee stocktake performance and progress, and to conduct business process monitoring/testing. About our Team Navy Logistics and Infrastructure Branch (NLIB) is responsible for the advancement of Navy Logistics and Infrastructure programs while providing strategic logistics, governance and regulatory assurance advice including policy, Navy basing plans and infrastructure development in support of Navy's mission and achievement of outcomes. The Directorate of Navy Logistics Governance (DNLG) resides within NLIB and includes the Logistics Policy, Logistics Compliance and Assurance, Navy Uniforms and Navy Logistics Sea Governance teams that support operations, capability and the integrity of Defence Financial Statements. The Navy Logistics Compliance and Assurance (NLCA) team, on behalf of DGLOG-N, is the lead for Navy Logistics Compliance and Assurance activities and Navy's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Supply Chain Management Business Process alignment. The NLCA team monitors, facilitates and coordinates logistics audits and assurance activities throughout Navy and maintains Navy's inventory assurance programs, in accordance with the Defence Inventory and Asset Assurance Strategy & Frameworks.
