We are looking for an talented and passionate Full-time Chef De Partie to join the PLG team at The Club in Caroline Springs. You’ll have the opportunity to manage a designated kitchen section, supervise junior staff, and assist the team with menu development. The Club is a premier dining complex situated in Caroline Springs and has become a great venue within the community. Offering a family friendly environment, great service and a relaxed atmosphere for all to enjoy. What will my duties include? - Maintaining control and leadership in the kitchen during service times in allocated sections. - Assist with the induction of new employees when required. - Maintain professional relationships with external supplies. - Prepare and cook menu as per cooking guidelines and set standards. - Work in conjunction with the head chef to develop and implement a menu. - Ensure all staff follow safety procedures. What we are looking for: - Hold a Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) - Food Handlers Certificate. - Experience working in a pub/bistro fast-paced environment. - Well-versed in all kitchen areas with hands-on experience. - Ability to follow and give directions when required. - Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. - Full working rights in Australia.
