The role As a Senior Project Surveyor, you will ensure the technical integrity of all survey inputs and deliverables for projects and tenders, aligning technical survey delivery with the commercial requirements of each project.You will also mentor and develop survey field staff, particularly focusing on mid-tier professionals, including Grade 1 and 2 Surveyors. This position is primarily office-based, with occasional requirements for onsite or offshore support in a specialist capacity. Key Responsibilities Technical Integrity: Guarantee the accuracy and reliability of all survey inputs and outputs, ensuring they meet project specifications and standards.Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing research, development, and technological advancement of survey assets, equipment, systems, and processes to enhance project delivery efficiency.Specialist Support: Attend mobilizations and provide offshore support as needed, acting as a technical point of contact throughout project lifecycles.Communication: Stay updated on technical aspects of work scopes and communicate relevant information to all parties involved before, during, and after projects.Cost Management: Ensure that all technical survey costs are accurately captured during the tendering stage and integrated into the tender submission.Environmental Awareness: Implement measures to minimize the environmental impact of survey operations and ensure compliance with project requirements and procedures. Qualifications Education : Bachelor's degree in Hydrographic Surveying or Surveying.Certifications : Completion of Party Chief competencies or equivalent per IMCA requirements is desirable; AHSCP Level 1 certification is also preferred. Essential Experience 5-10 years of offshore field experience in Hydrographic Surveying.2+ years in Party Chief, Project, or Operational management roles.Relevant experience in a similar capacity.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Exceptional planning and organizational skills.Demonstrated commitment to safety awareness.
