About the Role ANZ has embarked on an ambitious and exciting program of work - the integration of ANZ and Suncorp Bank. The Integration Program comprises six portfolios, of which the Queensland (QLD) Government Commitments is one. We are now appointing a Project Manager to be assigned to this portfolio to oversee the activities to monitor and track the commitments made to the Queensland government as part of the Suncorp Bank deal. This role will partner across the Suncorp Bank and ANZ businesses to deliver into the commitments plan, ensuring outcomes are aligned with the ambition statement and milestones are met across this multi-year and complex program of work. As a Project Manager in our team, you'll play a key role in having the overall responsibility for ensuring we are delivering on the ambition statement and c. 20 Federal and QLD government commitments. The Project Manager will form part of a centralised program delivery team (reporting to the Integration Program Delivery Lead) and will work in a matrix capacity with the Managing Director of QLD and the QLD Hub Leader. As a Project Manager, you will: Delivery within the guidelines and budget of the Federal and QLD government commitments. Work with the streams (commitment owners) to determine reporting requirements and the capabilities to track and monitor the commitments. Determine the reporting solution(s) and any resource requirements. Develop a reporting plan and cadence. Consolidate reporting across the c.20 commitments and ambition statement to track progress and provide status updates for external (QLD Government) and internal (Suncorp Bank / ANZ) business owners and stakeholders. Hold regular portfolio working groups with commitment owners (as required). Ensure change and communications resources are engaged (as required). Identify and manage risks anticipating and proactively develop mitigation strategies to ensure commitments are tracking to plan. Report progress of the overall QLD Government portfolio as part of the central Integration Program Delivery team. Build strong stakeholder relationships and escalate and resolve challenges and roadblocks as necessary and appropriate. To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Outstanding leadership credentials and relevant experience delivering multi-faceted projects, in an environment which is complex and interdependent. Strong experience working closely with key stakeholders across strategic initiatives and other bank teams to collate input to ensure alignment to the QLD ambition statement, commitments and overall Integration strategy and goals. Demonstrated experience developing comprehensive plans and implementing change management strategies. Capability in communicating with and influencing a broad range of internal and external stakeholder groups, building confidence in and driving strategic alignment, and effectively resolving issues and removing barriers to success. Experience in facets of project management including identifying, analysing and mitigating risks, resource management, program delivery and adherence to organisational policies, data privacy and regulatory requirements. The ability to lead and motivate others, anchoring your approach in ANZ's values and leadership behaviours. You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
