Deliver engaging onboarding, equipping new starters with the knowledge and confidence to excel in their role.
This position is available in either Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast.
The role Reporting to the Delivery Lead, the L&D Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering engaging and effective onboarding programs for frontline consultants and customer-facing roles.
This role ensures that new hires receive a structured, comprehensive induction experience, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed.
By fostering a smooth transition into the business, the Induction L&D Trainer plays a key role in building a high-performing, customer-focused workforce.
Position Accountabilities Deliver structured induction programs that introduce new hires to company culture, values, systems, and service expectations.
Ensure a seamless onboarding experience by providing clear, engaging, and interactive learning that accelerates time to productivity.
Monitor and enhance induction effectiveness by gathering feedback, tracking progress, and refining content based on learner needs and business updates.
Utilise LMS and virtual training platforms to facilitate, track, and report on onboarding outcomes.
Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to align induction training with business goals and ensure a smooth handover post-training.
Continuously improve onboarding initiatives by identifying gaps, refining content, and implementing best practices to enhance new hire engagement and retention.
What experience you'll bring Qualifications and Experience Essential High level facilitation experience (on the job and/or classroom) Understanding of training/learning processes, theories and methodologies including adult learning principles and styles Highly developed interpersonal, written and organisational skills Experience in a dynamic service operation Demonstrated capacity for self-management, participative decision-making, team participation and the ability to accept, promote and manage change Desirable Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
Certification within the Financial Services industry highly regarded Location This role is available at any of our Brisbane and Sunshine Coast locations, providing flexibility to choose the office that suits you (Travel to other sites may be required as needed).
Our Toowong office is close to the city with easy public transport and parking options while our North Lakes offices are within walking distance of some of the north side's best retail locations.
