The expectation is for staff to be in the office 2-3 days/week.Job DescriptionCollaborate with the General Counsel to manage property and construction transactions, regulatory compliance, stakeholder management, contract negotiation, and risk management.Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including development agreements, joint ventures, construction contracts, finance documents, lease agreements, and sales contracts.Provide legal support for property acquisitions, due diligence, project financing, construction matters, and stakeholder reporting.The Successful ApplicantBachelor of Law or Juris Doctor/JD with rights to work unsupervised in Victoria.Demonstrable experience in Property and Real Estate. Development is preferred but not essential and experience from Private Practice or In-House will be considered.Knowledge of property law, construction law, planning regulations, and contract law.Comfortable to review, draft, and negotiate contracts.What's on Offer12 month FTC where the 12 months starts on your first day.
