The Team Leader is responsible for providing leadership and coordination of the Administration Team to meet the current and future support needs of Community Health, Medical Service Group ensuring administrative services are effective and efficient to deliver a high quality, client-focused service to patients.
The incumbent to this role contributes to Medical Service Group’s strategic and operational outcomes by providing high level administrative analysis, reports, recommendations, and advice.

About the opportunity:
Position: Team Leader Community Health
Vacancy: Fixed Term Temporary Full-time up to 12 months (with possibility of extension - not exceeding an additional 12 months).
Location: Community Health, Kirwan Health Campus, Townsville

Remuneration package of up to $114,177 p.a.
* Salary range: $90,832 to $100,071 p.a. (AO4)
* 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
* 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
* Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About the role
* Supervise and manage administrative support staff responsible to this position including preparation of rosters, management of workloads, organisation of relief where appropriate and ensuring patient flow operates efficiently and effectively.
* Establish and maintain valuable working relationships with other managers and staff to support and improve relevant operations associated with administrative procedures and ensure support provided is conducive to Queensland Health and any other relevant policy standards.
* Provide procedural advice and find resolutions to day-to-day problems encountered by departmental staff within supervisory delegation and together with your manager identify strategies to improve the efficiency of administration tasks performed by the team.
