About the role:We are seeking experienced and dedicated female support workers to join our team to support our young client living in the Gawler area. Certificate III and Allied Health students encouraged to apply. Due to the participant's background, Female support workers are requested for this position. Requirements for the position: Experience in complex behaviour support.Exceptional communication skills.A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and person-centered care.Experience working with a varied aged range of NDIS participants including children and adolescents.Full Australian drivers licence and a reliable car for transportation. Key responsibilities: Provide specialised support to individuals with complex behaviour needs.Utilise evidence-based strategies to manage complex behaviours and promote positive outcomes. Assistance with activities of daily living. Providing transportation from school to other educational programs or scheduled appointments. Requirements for the role: 18+ years of age.Previous experience in the support of children and adolescents within the NDIS sector. Working with Children's Check.NDIS Worker Check.First Aid and CPR certificate.Safe Environments for Children and Young People –"Through Their Eyes" training.A full Australian drivers licence and a reliable car.
