Exciting opportunities exist for Registered Nurses experienced in a mental health environment to join the team at a private hospital in Central Queensland. There is availability of Full-Time and Part-Time positions with an immediate start.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, you will join a dedicated, multi-disciplinary patient care team to support the 20-bed Mental Health Ward. You will deliver a high standard of care and work across a 7-day rotating roster.
REQUIREMENTS
* Appropriate AHPRA registration;
* Minimum 2 years of inpatient experience in an acute mental health environment;
* A strong focus on patient-centred, evidence-based nursing care;
* Motivated, energetic and a flexible team player;
* Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills;
* Being able to to provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months;
* The ability to collaborate and consult with patients, family and carers in a professional, compassionate manner.

REMUNERATION
$41.89 - $54.01 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Rockhampton, is a 66-bed medical, surgical, and mental health facility offering a holistic approach to health care. The specialisations of the facility include orthopaedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, IVF, general medicine and mental health. The Mental Health Unit provides services for patients requiring treatment for Mental Health disorders, including Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Schizophrenia and Psychotic disorders. It also provides day programs, including Anxiety Treatment, Recovery and Relapse Prevention and Mood Disorders.
