The Opportunity
Our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for a Graduate Process Engineer in our Coke and Iron team based in Port Kembla. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

In this exciting graduate position, you will gain world class experience working with our highly skilled senior engineers who will mentor you and contribute to your development. You will have the unique opportunity to acquire invaluable exposure to a broad variety of systems, equipment and business areas, all while being a part of Australia’s largest steel solutions provider.
What Will You Do?
Always looking towards the future, you will support the process engineering team to develop, assess and implement new ways of working through continuous improvements at our Port Kembla manufacturing facility. You will become a technical expert on process safety, gas safety and environment. You will:
* provide process engineering support for the day to day operations of the plant
* investigate and implement process improvement projects
* provide process engineering support for capital projects
* deliver technical support to implement our Process Safety program
More About You
Having completed your degree, you are now ready to kick start your career with us. You will have a degree qualification in Chemical Engineering or similar, with some exposure and experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
