Kirinari Healthy Ageing offers an exciting opportunity for employment with a well-established, rapidly expanding essential support service.
We have several openings in Port Macquarie for qualified/experienced/entry-level Aged and Home Care Workers to join our dynamic team.
About the Position
Our Healthy Ageing services deliver quality in-home care supporting customers to maintain their well-being and independence in their own surroundings for as long as possible.
A typical day assisting our customers may include:
* Personal care assistance
* Domestic help
* Assisted shopping/appointments
* Respite care
* Meal preparation
* Social support and community engagement
Hours are generally Monday to Friday between 7am – 7pm and can include weekends and public holidays as required.
Shifts will be shorter in duration with paid travel time between customers in a localised area, where possible. Travel costs between customers are also claimable.
About You:
* A minimum certificate III in a health-related industry (Individual Support, Aged Care, Nursing etc.) is highly regarded
* Strong communication skills and ability to develop positive relationships
* Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
* Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
* Full Comprehensive Car Insurance, or willingness to obtain
* A smartphone
* A current Driver's Licence
