We are seeking applications from Registered Nurses with experience in Surgical Nursing across our specialised surgical wards such as Orthopaedics, General Surgery, ENT, Neurosurgery, Gynaecology and Plastics. Currently we have vacancies at National Capital Private Hospital.
We are seeking to recruit experienced Registered Nurses to join our Surgical department in various roles, in a fulltime, part time capacity. As a Registered Nurse (Surgical), your responsibilities will include:
* Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
* Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members and Enrolled Nurses (ENs to deliver patient care
* Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
* Led successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
* Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
* Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum 2 years’ Registered Nursing in an acute surgical environment
* Police Check
* Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
* Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
* Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in relevant speciality (Desirable)
* Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
* Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
* Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Proactive, motivated and customer focused

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "NCPH Nursing EBA 2022 (salaries range between $38.72 and $52.32 per hour) Full time ( 76,510per annum -103,384 per annum plus penalties).
