Business Development Manager (QLD) – Air Tickets You will manage a portfolio of travel agent accounts and play a key role in maximising Air Tickets' profitability amongst existing and new customers. You will promote and represent the Air Tickets' brand, provide training and briefings on the Air Tickets' suite of products, and demonstrate the benefits of our technology. You will be proactive and drive TTV & revenue through your assigned region and portfolio of Key Accounts. What you're accountable for? Develop and implement sales strategies supporting business growth for an assigned region of accounts. Maintain regular face-to-face and remote contact via a structured call plan cycle with an assigned region of accounts, ensuring ongoing achievement of sales target levels. Maintain and develop a thorough knowledge of the Air Tickets suite of products and services. Agree plans to deliver sales growth with National Sales Manager. Maintain CRM/Sales Tracker and accurately report on activity weekly. Analyse and interpret sales data and use this analysis to inform sales growth activity. Represent Air Tickets at industry functions, events, and conferences. Experience 3+ years of travel industry experience, preferably in consolidation and within a field sales role. Demonstrated experience in a sales role either in a front-line sales capacity within a travel agency or selling products and services to the travel agency community. Strong international airfares and GDS knowledge. Proven track record of building strong relationships with a broad set of stakeholders, including travel agents, owners, preferred airline partners, and internal stakeholders. Good organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to work autonomously and remotely. A few other things to note about the role Regional, interstate, and overseas travel is a requirement of the role. Maintaining a valid driver's license and passport are requirements of the role. Role reports to National Sales Manager Role is based in Brisbane The role is Full Time (38 hours) Key result areas TTV and Revenue growth for your assigned portfolio. Growth in the number of agents actively ticketing with Air Tickets. Compliance with CRM and Sales Tracker usage. Delivery of agreed business plans. Qualifications Certificate IV in Travel and Tourism or Bachelor's Degree preferred. Other considerations Strong understanding of international airfares and consolidation or travel agent experience selling and utilising Air Tickets products. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and relate to people from different backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated tenacity and resilience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to network effectively. Ability to deal with competing priorities and prioritise your work.
