What you’ll do:
1. Create detailed user stories to support delivery.
2. Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
3. Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently.
4. Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
5. Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable.
6. Work close with squad / project members, including but not limited to Delivery lead, Scrum Master, Developers, Tech Leads, and Business stakeholders to identify, capture, plan and deliver the scope of work.
7. Suncorp offers a hybrid way of working where you will be expected to be in the office approx. 2 days per week.
What you’ll bring:
8. ESSENTIAL: Minimum 5 years’ business analysis experience from a large organisation working on significant transformation programs
9. A background in the Insurance industry is preferable
10. Minimum 3 years’ Agile, Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation
11. Must be able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements.
12. Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various levels of stakeholders internally and externally.
13. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
14. Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference
15. Must be able to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines, while also working autonomously.
