The Nurse Unit Manager for an Operating Theatre in a remote, culturally diverse community holds a critical leadership role in ensuring high-quality, effective and efficient, culturally competent care is delivered to all patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational, clinical, and professional aspects of the unit. A combination of clinical expertise, strong management skills, and the ability to navigate complex cultural dynamics is essential. Visiting specialists provide several surgical specialist areas of care including General Surgery, Plastics, Ear Nose and Throat (ENT), Gastrointestinal, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedic, Vascular, Dental and Gynaecological. The service also provides 24/7 emergency Obstetric surgical services.
