Job descriptionJob SummaryHours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pmSalary: £25,000 p/aWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to join our team. The Streetworks Compliance Team plays a very important role within MJ Quinn. The team validate and investigate Streetworks non-compliance and provide analysis and trends, this is all done to be able to help MJ Quinn and our Partners prevent recurrence of such non-compliance and support in the reduction of charges.The Streetworks compliance coordinator will, under the direction of the Streetworks compliance Team Leader, be responsible for managing the different types of Streetworks non-compliance. Responsibilities will include managing HA defects, informing all parties involved at the earliest opportunity of non-compliance, liaising with the HAs, Internal teams and Partners for updates, driving internal teams’ performance and highlighting areas for concern.Validate non-compliance charges, completing a root cause analysis on every charge received and providing a weekly analysis to support the reduction in charges across the business.ResponsibilitiesValidation of Charges received, including if the charges are valid and confirming liability.Update management systems within specified timescales and deliverables within the contract requirements.Communicate with operational staff to identify critical areas of non-compliance.Liaise with operational teams to ensure all projects have the appropriate paperwork and evidence for Streetworks non-compliance.Liaise with Local Authorities, providing evidence within the legislation to mitigate any charges levied on the company. Escalate to Streetworks Compliance Team Leader if required.Dealing directly with Contractors both verbally and by written instruction.Preparing monthly statistics to identify financial risk.Review and collate data for any contractual requirements.Driving internal teams to drive down defect, interim and FPN levels across the business.Driving internal teams and subcontractors to improve and maintain sample inspection performance.Responding to contractor enquiries via email.The inputting of data into the appropriate databases.Experience and skillsHave strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities, with attention to detail.Enjoy a challenge, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.Have a high standard of numeracy.Be computer literate.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.Have a strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.Can prioritise work, work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage business expectations.Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.Telecoms experience (desired).Streetworks experience (desired).Noticing / Permitting experience (desired).Compliance Role experience (desired).Diversity StatementMJ Quinn’s are committed to promoting an environment that values diversity.
