Job Description
Reporting to the Sales Leader in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), the Account Manager will develop long-term customer relationships, connecting GE Vernova with customers through appropriate products and solutions to support profitable growth of the Power Transmission (PT) business in the allocated geography.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement account strategies and actions to build influential and long-term relationships with key business executives and stakeholders in accounts' organizations.
* Develop and implement commercial strategies for selling Power Transmission products and services to win profitable business.
* Serve as the primary contact point for accounts, liaising with internal cross-functions to ensure customers' needs and concerns are well understood and properly addressed. Explain PT product and service value to customers, conduct spec-in/out actions together with Product Specialists from the Sales team.
* Collect and analyze accounts' data to understand customers' behaviors and buying activities, supporting deal-winning strategies.
* Identify and prospect opportunities, being a sales specialist for Power Transmission products to drive and lead the process of Inquiry to Order (ITO) for any new sales opportunities.
* Own accurate forecasting of orders, convertible orders, margins, and sales for given accounts.
* Follow up and support customer complaint-solving processes at Order to Remittance (OTR) stage to improve customer satisfaction.
* Build market intelligence on market dynamics, competitiveness, technology moves, market environment trends, and emergent opportunities, providing input for market assessments, product gap actions, and product R&D activities.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in account management, product sales, service sales, or similar fields with a proven sales track record.
* Good knowledge of Power Transmission products and/or their service solutions.
* Good knowledge of the ANZ energy sector and good connections with key utilities, EPCs, and Industrial customers.
* Experience in contract terms and conditions, risk assessment, and mitigation plans.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25%.
