Your Role
Join a passionate and dedicated team making a real difference in homelessness and housing support! In this dynamic role, you’ll help create a safe and welcoming space that empowers clients on their journey toward stable housing. Collaborating closely with the case management team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, client-centered services aligned with individual case plans, fostering a respectful and supportive environment every step of the way.
Your Responsibility
* Provide diverse support to clients in line with their case plans and collaborate with the case management team. Maintain daily records and ensure accommodation services meet quality standards.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
* Deliver client support consistent with the Client Service Delivery Model (CSDM) and trauma-informed care practices.
* Maintain a respectful, non-judgmental, and inclusive approach at all times.
* Assist clients in following service rules and address their primary needs.
* Create a safe, welcoming environment and oversee client activities and programs.
* Support case management tasks, liaise with staff, and provide accurate client information and support.
* Maintain professional, up-to-date client records and advocate for clients with external agencies as needed.
* Transport clients as required and meet service targets set by supervisors or external agencies.
* Adhere to accommodation standards, including client orientation, room organisation, inspections, meal service, and maintaining a clean environment.
You Will Need
* Experience in a support role, preferably within homelessness or housing services.
* Understanding of trauma-informed care practices and the Client Service Delivery Model (CSDM).
* Ability to work effectively with a diverse client population in a respectful and inclusive manner.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in maintaining records and case notes.
* Flexibility to cover various shifts as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
