Grade 2 Social Worker Position, 3 days a week, in inpatient rehabilitation setting

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and adaptable Social Worker to join our team, based at The North Eastern Rehabilitation Centre in a part-time capacity. This role involves closely collaborating with our other rehabilitation sites, with our broader social work team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and enjoy working within a busy team environment.
As a Social Worker your responsibilities will include:
· Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessment, timely intervention and contribute towards the holistic discharge planning of patients within a rehabilitation setting
· Display exceptional time management and a high degree of flexibility
· Have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
· Enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team in the rehabilitation setting
· Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives
As part of one of the largest private rehabilitation Networks in Australia, The North Eastern Rehabilitation Centre has a reputation for high quality and patient-focused care, across a range of rehabilitation specialties. The centre offers a friendly and supportive staff environment, with our established multidisciplinary team servicing a 30 bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital.
Selection Criteria:
· Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Social Work
· Eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
· Experience working in a rehabilitation or hospital setting desirable
