A leading renewable energy company specialising in the development, construction, and operation of utility-scale solar and battery storage projects across Australia is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to manage existing contracts, originate new contracts, and drive procurement for innovative renewable energy projects. This role places a strong emphasis on Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contracts to ensure seamless long-term asset performance. Key Responsibilities: Ensure successful execution and compliance of O&M contracts, optimising performance and ensuring long-term project viability. Lead and support the development, negotiation, and execution of large-scale contracts. Work closely with engineering, finance, and legal teams to structure contracts that align with project goals and risk management strategies. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contract law, and industry best practices. Oversee and manage multiple smaller contracts with consultants, service providers, and O&M partners. Maintain contract databases, track key milestones, and manage amendments or renewals as needed. Resolve contractual disputes and mitigate risks proactively. Serve as the key liaison between internal teams, contractors, consultants, and legal advisors. Conduct contract risk analysis, ensuring that all agreements align with company policies and regulatory requirements. Support executive leadership with contract performance reporting and recommendations. About You: Strong background in contract management, procurement, or legal advisory roles. Experience managing both small consultant contracts and large-scale construction contracts (e.g., EPC agreements). Proven ability to negotiate and oversee O&M contracts, ensuring compliance and optimising asset performance. Prior experience in renewable energy projects (solar and/or battery storage) is highly desirable. Knowledge of contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and Australian regulatory frameworks. Why Join?
