Job Description
The Commercial Products team manages a fleet of custom-built systems that perform critical functions for our Sales Operations, Traffic, Finance and Presentation teams, which make it possible for us to sell and traffic ads into our linear broadcasts schedules. In other words, our systems manage all revenue associated with broadcast.
You’ll be joining a new team as apart of a key piece of CRM integration work within our sales systems - day to day you’ll be working with AWS, API’s, and ensuring an overall robust integration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API testing using Postman or similar tools.
2. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and design effective test cases.
3. Perform thorough testing of APIs, web services, and cloud-based solutions hosted on AWS.
4. Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
5. Identify, document, and track defects using established processes.
6. Ensure the software meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability.
7. Continuously improve the automation framework to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and technologies in QA automation.
Qualifications
9. Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
10. Strong experience in API testing, with expertise in using Postman or similar tools.
11. Proficiency in .NET and JavaScript for writing and maintaining test scripts.
12. Hands-on experience with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
13. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
14. Experience with version control systems like Git.
15. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
16. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Nice to have:
17. Experience with other automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
18. Familiarity with BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and TDD (Test Driven Development) methodologies.
