Duties and Responsibilities:
* Create seasonal menus and special dishes, ensuring high-quality ingredients and presentation.
* Inventory food, ingredient, and supply stock, managing vendor orders and budgets effectively.
* Maintain high food standards, preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques in the kitchen.
* Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
* Monitor the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation, ensuring appealing plate presentation.
* Demonstrate cooking techniques and advise on procedures.
* Cook food in a timely manner, meeting customer expectations.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
* Hire, train, and manage kitchen staff.
