About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following: Proven leadership and management skills with a strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams, particularly in media, communication, and digital environments. You have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage resources, prioritise tasks, and deliver results that align with strategic objectives. Strong expertise in modern media and digital communication, including social media strategies, crisis communication management, and digital content creation. You bring a deep understanding of how to leverage evolving technologies and platforms to meet organisational goals, enhance reputation, and engage both internal and external stakeholders. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, impactful messaging for diverse audiences. You excel at developing strategic communication that drives engagement, improves brand positioning, and fosters strong relationships with stakeholders. Extensive experience in managing complex media relations and crisis communication, with the ability to protect and enhance the organisation's public image proactively and reactively. Well-developed strategic thinking and capability to understand and navigate public sector processes and governance frameworks. You bring a forward-thinking mindset that integrates best practices in strategic communication while addressing the operational and reputational needs of a large health service.
