Manage the operation and administration of the ECA Melbourne Campus Library conjunction
Provide library training to on campus and online students via workshops, webinars and individual consultations
Provide library support and guidance to staff
Contribute to the planning, scheduling and creation of communications and promotion regarding library services and resources
Maintain records on activities undertaken by the library team
Contribute to planning, documentation and review processes of services, procedures, tools and systems and implement recommendations for improvement, as required
Contribute to the wider goals, initiatives and projects relevant to the library and learning and teaching team
As the successful candidate you will ideally have:
A relevant tertiary qualification in library and information services or information studies
Demonstrated experience working as a librarian in a higher education setting
Capacity to deliver library training and develop library resources
Capacity to provide academic skills support via workshops, webinars and individual consultations and to develop learning support materials and resources
Capacity and willingness to learn new technology
Capacity to develop effective working relationships with academic teaching staff
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Effective time management and organisational skills
Good skills in using a range of technology
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
