We offer free, confidential services to help victim-survivors navigate their compensation and redress options, through the National Redress Scheme, Victims of Crime Compensation Schemes, and the Territories Stolen Generation Redress Scheme.Our team provides free legal assistance, financial counselling, social support and specialised cultural support for First Nations people. With a trauma-informed and culturally safe approach, we empower victim-survivors to make informed choices on their path to healing and justice.WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGER WHO HAS :Proven experience in managing workplace health and safety, preferably in a trauma impacted environmentIn-depth knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, regulations, and industry standards across multiple jurisdictionsStrong understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measuresExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees, management, and external stakeholdersProven ability to develop and deliver health and safety training programsABOUT THE ROLE :Working in the People and Culture Team you will helicopter between strategic and operational and work on the following key areas :Policy development and implementationTraining and SupportSafety Culture and PromotionCompliance and ReportingFacilities Management, as pertaining to WHSWHAT WE OFFER :Our work is underpinned by our values of respect, teamwork, courage, integrity and innovation.
