Job Summary: The Dental Technician is responsible for fabricating, repairing, and modifying dental prosthetics and appliances. Key Responsibilities:Fabrication of Dental Appliances:Construct dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances.Use dental laboratory equipment, including milling machines, 3D printers, and casting equipment.Work with various dental materials, including ceramics, metals, and plastics.Polish and finish dental appliances to a high standard.Repair and Maintenance:Repair damaged dental appliances.Maintain and clean dental laboratory equipment.Order and stock dental materials and supplies.Digital Dentistry:Utilize CAD/CAM software to design and fabricate dental restorations.Scan dental impressions and models to create digital files.Operate 3D printers to produce dental models and appliances.Quality Control:Ensure that all dental appliances meet quality standards.Inspect finished products for accuracy and precision.Adhere to infection control protocols.
