Job Title: Site Engineer

The Project
The Western Harbour Tunnel – Stage 2 project involves delivering Sydney's third harbour crossing. The new Western Harbour Tunnel will connect to WestConnex at the Rozelle Interchange, cross underneath Sydney Harbour between Birchgrove and Waverton, and connect with the Warringah Freeway near North Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the scope is delivered within the allotted time and budget
* Assist in planning material, resources, and systems usage for successful, cost-effective, and best-practice project completion
* Maintain documentation and systems for quality, safety, environmental considerations
* Participate in client/contractor meetings
* Manage cost control for certain scope of works and maintain a 3-week look ahead
* Read and interpret design plans and drawings
* Supervise, mentor, and support Graduate Engineers
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or similar)
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role
* Precast experience would be highly beneficial
* Problem-solving and analytical skills
* Well-developed communication skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of subcontractors, local authorities, and internal staff
* High attention to detail
