This role is pivotal in managing and coordinating work placements for students in our vocational and higher education courses, primarily in the fields of early childhood education, counselling, community services, and ageing. The Work Placement Advisor will facilitate the placement process, ensuring that students gain valuable, real-world experience, while also nurturing positive and ongoing relationships with host organisations.This position will be based at our Sydney campus.Key ResponsibilitiesWork Placement ManagementEnsure timely placement of students with appropriate work placement hosts.Build and maintain strong working relationships with host organisations to enhance future placement opportunities.Serve as the main point of contact for both students and host organisations, providing ongoing support and conducting regular check-ins during placements.Ensure that all work placement documentation is collected on time and adheres to compliance and regulatory requirements.Allocate Workplace Assessor visits in a timely manner to ensure smooth placement experiences.Develop and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships that benefit students, host organisations, and EDU.Ensure completion and compliance of placement documentation by assessors.Student Support and OrientationProvide students with relevant information about their work placements, ensuring they are well-prepared.Deliver placement orientation workshops to students to ensure they understand expectations and requirements.Documentation and ComplianceEnsure that all placement documentation is returned and compliant with required regulations and industry standards.Provide data and feedback reports from host organisations to support continuous improvement efforts.Education, Experience, And SkillsCertificate IV or higher qualification (preferred).Previous experience in placing students within the VET and Higher Education sectors is highly regarded.A strong understanding of educational processes within the vocational and higher education sectors.Proven ability to manage stakeholders and maintain effective networks.Strong administrative skills, with experience maintaining documents and records.Why Join Us?Paid birthday leaveIndividual training budget for professional developmentReward and recognition programsBreakfast supplies on campusYear-round engagement eventsNovated leasing optionsEveryday benefits and savings via Flare appFun and diverse working environmentCBD location with easy access to public transport.Diversity & InclusionWe celebrate diversity and are committed to reflecting Australian society to better serve our students.
